When we presented these guys with a jazzy and mystic instrumental on December 20th last year, Simon wrote us that he saw the band in a barn in Dresden and that they could easily change their tune.
Today we’ll present you this sort of crazy tune from the musicians from Lublin, Warszawa and Bialystok. Although they are an award-winning Klezmer band they do not think of their musical roots in the region as conservative legacy. They rather switch between the musical genres of Jazz, Hip-hop, Balkan beats and folkloristic influences from all over. This crossover takes place at a very high level of musicality and allows them to get every audience going until they rock it out – according to their manager.
Last Saturday you could dance to the wild electro beats of Fisz and Emade, this Saturday however we invite you to a multi-cultural dance-off. Where you do it and how you do it is up to you. For inspirations we recommend the video of today’s musical goodie. The brave ones are invited to send us a dance-selfie – there’ll be a little surprise drawn from all participants.
Shalom,
Your MAK-Team

Up!
Up! Up! We put our hands up! Up! Up! The energy shall fire you up! (Together) Up! Up! Your Hands? Our stage. It’s the last chance. You’ve got nothing to lose.
Have you ever thought how to release an album? A good idea and a cool groove are not sufficient. Don’t mix up supply with demand – do a market analysis! You need to know what’s on heavy rotation on te radio. Pick the good stuff and throw away the crap. Then you’ll get in a new mood. Snuff your gram of Klezmer-beat today!
Up! Up! We put our hands up! Up! Up! The energy shall fire you up! (Together) Up! Up! Your Hands? Our stage. It’s the last chance. You’ve got nothing to lose.
Here in front of the stage we get drunk with music and ride a dinosaur on the shark. Klezmafour? Energy! That ain’t sadness! That’s a milestone? A monument carved out of marble. Electronic plus lively instruments. You don’t need anything else to dive into the crowd of balcanic madness. Come party with us! Everybody jumps, like at a dance with the stars.
Up! Up! We put our hands up! Up! Up! The energy shall fire you up! (Together) Up! Up! Your Hands? Our stage. It’s the last chance. You’ve got nothing to loose. Up! Up! Your hands? Our stage. Eeeeh Macarena! Up! Up!
